I love the Yahoo! Calendar and Events. What is really great about it is that you get to set to 2 alerts as many days as you like ahead of the event (I.E 4 and 7 days days before - alert me).
This is perfect for birthdays and anniversaries. So every time I have a birthday or anniversary of someone I like to remember I get an e-mail or text message from Yahoo.
However I also use the LG Env phone and it has a calendar. I thought it would be great to get my LG phone synced up with Yahoo calendaring.
There isn't any software that directly supports importing from one to the other, however there are some tools that you can use and a process below that can get you there indirectly.
It'll take 4 steps to do so:
1) Export from Yahoo -> "Export to Outlook"
Save as yahoo.csv
2) Import Into Gmail's Calendar
Google Calendar can import event information in iCal or CSV (MS Outlook) format.
(Get a Google Account if you don't already have one)
In your Gcal: -> manage -> add calendar -> file (select yahoo.csv)
3) Export From Gmail - and Get an .ICS file
Google Calendar URL: http://www.google.com/calendar/
http://www.google.com/calendar/exporticalzip
Google Calendar URL - Google Apps:
http://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/
Save as
4) In Bitpim: -> file -> import > Ical -> find .ICS file (Select

NOTES:
1) NEVER DELETE YOUR YAHOO CALENDAR OR ELSE YOUR LOSE THE CUTE LITTLE ICONS IN THE YAHOO MAIL VIEW!!!!
2) You'll need a USB<-> LgEnv Cable and drivers for your OS
