I was trying to listen to the Red Sox Game (Playing against the LA Angels) living in California, near San Franciso. No local stations carry the game, unless you're near LA.
Sirius doesn't carry this and I didn't want to wait for the merger w/XM.
My wife has an Iphone, but I wasn't able to find any option to listen to it.
I had checked with the other mobile technologies but there is no real applications that would allow me to listen to this.
Iradio doesn't pick up WRKO.
Mlb.com talks about Gameday Audio. You'll need to be at a PC to use it OR be a Verizon customer with a supported phone.
Well, the Lg Env is supported and I was able to listen to this.
Wow! What a great app! Just 7 bucks (+airtime charges (boo)) and my phone is a radio. (Here's a shot from Verizon's site)
I had a clear signal and it was just like I am back in Boston listening on WRKO.
